Leading gantry supplier in Brisbane, Gold Coast, safeguarding your site, your reputation and your profits.
Our client needed a 10kPa rated Gantry to ensure pedestrian safety and maintain access to the train station during adjacent construction. The gantry needed to be quickly installed in 1 night, and crane access wasn’t possible. As this was public property, the gantry has to be well-presented.
We installed a 25m-long tunnel of freshly-painted 7.5m wide gantry. The wide span allowed easier social distancing. It took 4 hours to install with a forklift, and pedestrian access was maintained to the platform at all times.
Our client has confidence in their site safety as they are fully compliant with the WHS Act and pedestrians are safe. Our client optimised their efficiency and minimised downtime in their program. Our client has improved their brand image with a high profile gantry to greet the public to the station.

Our clients, ACLAD, were undertaking cladding rectification works at 299 Ann St, Brisbane. They required a heavy duty gantry that would not only provide 10kPa overhead protection, but also provide a solid foundation for a mast climber. The gantry had to go under an awning, and around obstacles such as lighting, signage and seating. Shopfronts had to remain operational and no doorways could be impeded by gantry legs. Safety was paramount to the employees working on top of the gantry.
We efficiently installed the gantry in 6 hours overnight, using a forklift to allow for careful placement of the gantry. We worked with their engineer to correctly position the mast climber on the gantry. We constructed a high-vehicle bay to maintain truck access to the laneway, and erected 2m-high edge protection, maximising safety for workers above. The freshly painted gantry was configured so that no gantry legs obstructed the shopfronts.
ACLAD remained entirely compliant with the WHS Act, and were able to confidently access the mast climber and work atop the gantry. Our client optimised their efficiency and minimised downtime in their program. Our client has improved their brand image with a high profile gantry that allows them to attach their signage, creating a 31m long billboard on Ann Street, Brisbane.

Working in a small block in Brisbane, our clients, Morris Property Group, wanted to increase the usable space onsite, while ensuring pedestrian safety on the footpath. The gantry had to be placed to avoid obstacles along the footpath, while supporting the loads of double-stacked site sheds. Due to the CBD location, the gantry had to be installed at night and be well presented.
Over 3 nights, 10kPa gantry was installed along 3 street frontages on Wharf St and Astor Tce, Brisbane. The gantry design included 10kPa rated cantilever walkways, a high-vehicle bay for truck access to site, and was engineered to meet the curve of the road and maintain the 10kPa rating. We coordinated with the site shed supplier to align the shed and gantry placement to allow more efficient movement around the site. Using a 25t Franna crane, the gantry was carefully placed, ensuring no trees were damaged.
Morris Property Group were able to increase the usable space onsite by 200 sqm while keeping pedestrians safe from falling objects on the footpath. Our client increased the efficiency of employee movement around site, and minimised their down-time and traffic control costs.
Being a high-quality builder, their brand was improved by using a supplier that aligns with their high-profile brand image.

Our client needed to fully enclose their large Brisbane CBD construction site. They requested a fully enclosed and lockable staircase to increase site security, and efficiency of employee movement around site. The staircase had to be engineer certified, be fabricated to Australian standards and be highly presented.
We fabricated a fully enclosed staircase to be placed at the main entrance. It consisted of mesh walls to allow sunlight in, while a metal roof, fascia, gutter and downpipe addressed the elements. We accounted for the uneven surface by making an adjustable platform, and ensured it was painted in the clients colours.
A 25t Franna was used to install the staircase within 2 hours and connect it to the existing gantry platform.
Our client was able to reduce security risks to their site, and are confident that unauthorised people can’t gain entry. Our heavy-duty staircase reduces exposure to the elements for staff, as well as reducing their carbon footprint as no artificial lighting is required. It also sets a great first impression for site visitors and improves our client’s brand image.

Our client was having to create an exclusion zone over the sloped driveway, whenever overhead lifts took place. Instead, they wanted to install gantry to cover the width of the driveway, but ensure it was set at a minimum 5m height so concrete pumps could continue to access the driveway. They requested 2 sections of extra wide spans to carpark entrances. The 10kPa gantry had to be stepped to meet the slope of the driveway, and we had to avoid the heritage-listed tree during the installation process.
We used a 25t Franna to install 76LM of gantry over two days. An all-terrain scissor-lift allowed us to reach the underside of the gantry and adjust the heights of the gantry to meet the 22% slope of the driveway. A dogman acted as a spotter, ensuring no damage to the heritage listed tree nearby. Due to the height of the gantry, we applied additional bracing to maintain the 10kPa structural integrity of the gantry.
Our client increased the efficiency of the site, as they could use the driveway to access the concrete pump at all times. The client is fully compliant with the Work Health and Safety Act and all workers are safe from falling objects above. The heritage listed tree was not touched, and the new gantry represents the high quality of the brand for this luxury apartment building.

Our client required a large gantry platform to protect from falling objects during façade upgrades. The client wanted to reduce obstruction from gantry legs on the footpath. They also wanted to have wide spans for easy social distancing. A value-for-money solution was sought to reduce the cost to the client, while ensuring the structure would provide a safe solution for 24 months.
A 10kPa-rated gantry platform was designed to fully protect the footpath and building entrance. This met the curve of the road, maintained wide spans and had minimal gantry legs obstructing the footpath. 9 concrete counterweights were installed to provide additional protection should a vehicle impact occur. 55LM of 17mm ply hoarding was installed to meet the height of the gantry, to fully enclose the site. Our carpenter installed 2 personnel access doors to access the rear of the hoarding during construction.
Our client is fully compliant with the Work Health and Safety Act and the public are safe from falling objects above. This value-for-money solution used gantry and hoarding to ensure the building can remain fully operational. The gantry was installed at night, minimising tenant disruption. Our client was erecting two 25-storey buildings next to each other, simultaneously. They contacted us to discuss a gantry solution that would allow them to attach a material hoist to our gantry. This would allow them to use just one tower crane throughout the project, instead of two, resulting in significant savings.
As the build progressed, we erecteda custom shaped 4m long gantry platform at each level, until eventually 25 storeys of gantries were erected on top of each other. The legs of the gantries were engineered to withstand the additional vertical forces imposed. Each installation of a new gantry occurred every fortnight and took only 2 hours for our team to crane into place and assemble onsite. Thereafter the materials hoist was able to be reconfigured to access the additional floor.
The key benefit to our client here was greatly improved access, and cost savings. Employees were able to move more efficiently around site, and materials could be moved via hoist, instead of erecting a second tower crane. This solution was engineer certified so the client was confident their site was not only efficient, but safe.

We had already supplied multiple sections of gantry to our client when they contacted us about creating an overhead platform walkway to increase efficiency of site movements. They wanted to create additional walkways to link sections of their site up. This would need to be installed at night to reduce site downtime.
We worked with their engineering team to ascertain site movements and devise a gantry design that would greatly improve efficiency. We installed 210LM of 10kPa gantry onsite and multiple staircases that allowed for more vertical movement around site. The height and dimensions of the platforms were adjusted to accommodate truck access. The platforms and staircases were engineer certified and painted in our clients colours.
Our clients were able to optimise site efficiency while keeping pedestrians safe from falling objects on the footpath. Not only did our client increase efficiency of employee movements around site, but their employees are now safer as they are separated from vehicular traffic. The gantry was well-presented, but most importantly, our client was confident their site was safe and compliant.
